Being from Minneapolis, one of my hero’s growing up was Husker Du front man Bob Mould. I loved the old Husker Du stuff as well as his solo records. Sugar was fantastic as well. In my eyes, Bob Mould can do no wrong. I just recently found out that the hideous band Train (you know, that annoying Drops from Jupiter song that gets way too much airplay) has covered Sugar’s If I Can’t Change Your Mind. Yuck. I can’t even imagine how bad they’ve butchered it. Upon reading reviews on Amazon, everyone is saying that it is the best song on the disc. But of course. I also discoverd Bob Mould’s blog, check it out, it makes for some interesting reading. ![]()
