David Lee Roth is back in Van Halen! Thank the lord, maybe finally we can get past all of this Sammy, Extreme Guy, and any other "ham and egger" they've had as a singer lately.

David Lee Roth and Van Halen will begin a national tour in October. They are schedule for 50 concerts in the US. Hopefully the setlist will only include the old VH classics.

Look for Van Halen, with the original lineup, coming to your town. 

Queens of the Stone Age have a new CD out titled Era Vulgaris. I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet, but it's on my list...along with Bjork and Tomahawk.

Well you know all of that crap that I wrote about the Replacements recording more tunes, I was completely right.

Anyway, heard the new tune on the radio. Zone 105 or whatever that fake alternative Minneapolis station is. I can’t even give an honest opinion of the song just yet. I’ll try and post when I actually have an opinion or information.
I am glad they’re working together. The funny thing is, I think Tommy has been pretty involved in a lot of Paul’s solo and Grampaboy stuff as of late. I just think Axl had Tommy’s sack bound under some BS contract.  read more »

Replacements reform? It seems like every few weeks on the internet you hear about the Replacements getting back together and doing a one off show. I’ve heard it so many times now, I’m skeptical everytime the subject comes up.

Well this time it might be for real. Well at least I’ve seen a real photo of everyone together, and in the studio to boot!! Woo hoo. New Replacements songs? Could it be?

They labeled it “Death By Misadventure.” Nuge anyone? A 16 year old teenage from China died while jumping on his bed mimicking a rock star. He flew out of a third floor window to his death.

Wonder what rock star he was mimicking? I smell a lawsuit. Blame it on metal.

Apparently the RIAA is changing their story again. Now they’re saying you can make backup copies of your cd’s but ripping them to MP3’s and putting them on your iPod is not fair use. I am really beginning to hate the RIAA!!

Voivod is one of the most creative and intense bands to ever play metal. Killing Technology, Dimension Hatross and Nothingface were all complete masterpieces.

Last year, Denis “Piggy” D’Amour died from colon cancer. Which is very sad. He was a very talented and creative guitarist.

Voivod drummer Michael “Away” Langevin received a call one day from Denis D’Amour from the hospital. Denis said, “come to the hospital, I need to tell you something.” Langevin went to visit D’amour and was told he only had days to live.  read more »
